The purpose of the job is to provide adequate assistance to the cook in preparation of all meal service. Schedule will be Saturday through Tuesday from 2:30pm to 8:00pm.
Assisting Cook in setting up and covering desserts.
Pouring and covering beverages.
Setting up trays which includes lifting and transferring food and dishes which weigh in excess of 50 pounds.
Helping to serve trays and dining room.
Clearing of tables and trays.
Clean-up of work areas.
Any additional duties assigned by Certified Dietary Manager.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Willingness to take responsibilities.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more and be able to walk alone, turn, pivot and bend as needed to perform all of the duties listed under “Responsibilities” of this job description.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of Universal Precautions and the rules governing hazardous waste.
