As an Admissions Coordinator with Regency Integrated Health Services, you are entrusted with the responsibility of representing Regency IHS and demonstrating in all actions a commitment to higher standards.

The position will assist the admissions department in the management of the facility census. This person will be responsible for managing the internal admissions process and support functions.


  • As the AD-CO, you are responsible to assist the Admission Director in developing census and quality mix by providing prospective residents and/or responsible parties with appropriate information to assist in their decision.
  • At the direction of the AD, this position handles phone inquiries, tours and the timely and accurate completion of admission paperwork
  • This position will ensure a smooth transition from the home or hospital to the center with clear communication to all departments.
  • Handles walk-in or telephone inquiries and invites referral source to nursing center; Gathers nursing information from outside social worker and liaisons.
  • At the direction of the AD, follows-up on inquiries by conducting tours of the center, completing inquiry forms for admission paperwork, and providing all inquiries with brochures about nursing home, Medicare facts, and room rates
  • Reviews a list of unoccupied beds and makes pre-admission reservations according to type of case and accommodation required.
  • At the direction of the AD, ensures that a model room is maintained in the nursing center
  • Explains services and nursing home policy regarding payment of bills; Provides copies for families regarding limited liability treatment policy and legal surrogate; Gives families a list of all department heads and a resident handbook, and interprets nursing home regulations to resident concerning visitors, visiting hours, and disposition of clothing and valuables


  • Bachelors degree highly preferred. 
  • 1 year of sales experience, preferably one-on-one sales; retail and healthcare background a plus.
  • One year of management preferred.
  • Travel: Occasional travel required
  • Physical Demands: Extended periods of standing, walking and driving will be required
  • Attitude: An assertive, high energy personality combined with an empathetic outlook to drive to succeed will be essential to do well in this position
